Age Limit

Salary Details
The monthly remuneration for selected candidates varies by position:
- General Manager (Legal): Pay Band-4 (₹37,400 – ₹67,000) with a Grade Pay of ₹8,700 (pre-revised), equivalent to Pay Level-13 (₹123,100 – ₹215,900) as per the 7th CPC.
- Deputy General Manager (Legal): Pay Band-3 (₹15,600 – ₹39,100) with a Grade Pay of ₹7,600 (pre-revised), equivalent to Pay Level-12 (₹78,800 – ₹209,200) as per the 7th CPC.
- Manager (Administration): Pay Band-3 (₹15,600 – ₹39,100) with a Grade Pay of ₹6,600, equivalent to Pay Level-11 as per the 7th CPC.
- Assistant Manager (Administration): Pay Band-2 (₹9,300 – ₹34,800) with a Grade Pay of ₹4,800, equivalent to Level-8 as per the 7th CPC.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
General Manager (Legal)
- Qualification: Degree in Law from a recognized university/institute.
- Experience: Minimum 14 years of experience in the pay scale of Pay Band-3 (₹15,600 – ₹39,100) with a Grade Pay of ₹5,400 (pre-revised), equivalent to Pay Level-10 (₹56,100 – ₹177,500) of the 7th CPC, with 7 years of experience in legal matters related to contractual issues, arbitration, legislative matters, or land acquisition.
Deputy General Manager (Legal)
- Qualification: Degree in Law from a recognized university/institute.
- Experience: At least 9 years of experience in the pay scale of Pay Band-3 (₹15,600 – ₹39,100) with a Grade Pay of ₹5,400 (pre-revised), equivalent to Pay Level-10 (₹56,100 – ₹177,500) of the 7th CPC, with 6 years of experience in legal matters related to contractual issues, arbitration, legislative matters, or land acquisition.
Manager (Administration)
- Qualification: Degree from a recognized university/institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in administration, establishment, human resources, or personnel management.
Assistant Manager (Administration)
- Qualification: Degree from a recognized university/institution.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in administration, establishment, human resources, or personnel management.
Tenure
The initial period of engagement is for 3 years on a deputation basis, which may be extended by another 2 years with the approval of the Chairman, NHAI.
